Only realistic way to use points is for reward nights in hotels, a simple calculation will show that 25000 points could be worth up to £195.00 or $310.00 in some hotels.

I guess you always book a paid night first to get your upgrade confirmed. We have booked 14 nights at the Carlton 5 being reward nights, spread between the paid nights's. Should be an interesting points allocation.

I was just about to ask the same question. I use my points for merchandise , gift cards and rooms. Most of the time my room is paid for by work, but I do hold on to a few nights worth of points just in case.

I always try to get the most out of my points. If the hotel room is expensive, I pay for with points. If it's cheap, I rather do pay for. Two years back priority club offered a discount on AMEX stay anywhere gift cards. I had nearly emptied my points account to get a lot of them cards. Was great to use them for paid hotel stays. I sometimes use the points also to get merchandise , but then I have to have a lot of points available.

Good to see another snow lover on the scene!  I typically use my points for the toys needed for my addiction to the mountains. At one time there was an Awesome Holiday Inn downtown Gatlinburg, TN. "Sun-spree Resort I believe. Anyway, It is about a half mile or so from the trailhead up to LeConte My buddy Orbit & I have stayed there several times in the past on points.

You use it to save money on trips by earning miles, deals like 2 for 1. I haven't earned enought points for anything yet, but pplan to use it to redeem for gift cards since, I don't travel much.
