Just when I was starting to have faith in PRC again, they pull another great promotion. 

This promotion was a great one to run alongside Points Breaks (On its own it wasn't that great), but it gave us loyal customers other incentives.  With the majority of people out there now booking their hotels through HOTWIRE type companies, why not increase the rewards for us "FULL PAYING" customers.

Thanks for your enthusiasm about the One Day Sale program. It was actually a pilot program that we were testing. We're going to take a look at the feedback and the popularity of the program and determine if we can bring it back as a fully launched program within Priority Club.

Here is the original thread stated by Carolyn, announcing the new progrom. Unfortunately nowhere was mentione that this was only a test.

So hopefully PCR sees the frustration of us customers getting lured with these kind of programs and then been told that this well received program is canned.

Actually, Carolyn's first sentence in the original thread provided by JBa did state that this was a pilot test for a few weeks.

I hope they are not thinking about replacing Point Breaks with it, because it sucks compaired to Point Breaks.  I like it along side Point Breaks but on its own it very poor promotion.

 too missed the part about it being a pilot program.  I was all excited and had calendar reminders set for every Friday a.m., I even considered setting my alarm for midnight Thurs night to get up and see what new hotels were being offered.   I do like the Pointsbreak program, and we've been able to take advantage of a few nights at 5k points. So, keep the incentives coming on why we choose Priority Club over Marriott.

Speaking of PointBreaks, have you noticed that is about a week overdue on releasing second quarter properties? Methinks PointBreaks are gone!
