I stayed there on Award Nights. Platinum AMB. Two nights. Got upgraded to a room with jacuzzi on a balcony. Since I stayed on points they said resort fee was included (free beach towels, cots and an umbrella). I called in advance to ask for a better room since it was our anniversary. Nice BOSE sound system connected to one of the TVs. The only complain was that the coffee maker didn't work and they had to replace it; and it took some time to get one of two TVs going. I would definitely stay there again on the Award Nights.

This is one of my favorite IHG hotels, and I stay at ALOT of IHG locations. The hotel is located right on Ocean Boulevard in South Beach, MIAMI and is for the most part right across the street from the beach. The rooms are decorated with high end flat screen TV's (2 in the room I was in), Bose sound systems, amazing steam showers, balconies, and numerous other amenities. What I don't like about the hotel, is that the rates our outrageous $300+/nt, so you pretty much have to use your points, and the room is fully stocked with overpriced goodies that if you aren't careful can add up quick (ie: $6 water, $4 Soda, candy, etc...) also, parking is VALET only. Beautiful restaurant, pool, even a boutique store.
