Meet Kennedy!

She is a 3 year old pure bread Boston Terrier with the personality of a human!  Maybe it's because she is spoiled rotten, but this dog has it MADE!  Her days consist of sleeping in her (my) king size bed until roughly noon, which is when she moves her slumber into the living room and follows the sun around the house until we come home at 5:00.  She really is the sweetest most loyal dog in the world and, her being my first pet, I now understand why dog's are mans best friend!

Those  of us who have enjoyed pets  are very lucky.  I had several  golden retrievers and  american  tabby cats. Loved them all. I'm now in  in another chapter  of life and no longer have pets.

..

I  sometimes miss them  , and   get a bit teary when I see a beautiful golden on the street or in the park,

and then I remember, a favorite saying,

"Don't cry because  it's over;  smile becasue it happened"

And so I do. .
