Hong Kong Anyone?

[ Edited ]

Hey all of you worldly travelers, who out there can give me advice on which property is "better" bang for the buck? Looking for outstanding services, views, neighborhood, etc.  Anyone stay at either place, both places?

IC (Salisbury Rd.) :  http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/intercontinental/en/gb/locations/overview/hongkong

CP (Causeway Bay): http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/cp/1/en/hotel/hkglr?rpb=rate&crUrl=/h/d/cp/1/en/rates/HKGLR&ias=y

Trip is strictly leisure (as usual) and I'm using Points & Cash option.

Thanks all!

Re: Hong Kong Anyone?

I guess you might have already made your trip. Hope this will be useful to someone that might need it. The Intercontinental at Salisbury Road is the most famous IC Hotel in Hong Kong with nice restaurants and their High Tea is always crowded. Location is walking distance to shopping areas in Tsimshatsui such as the Harbour City, etc. Crowne Plaza at Causeway Bay is relatively new hotel in the most convenient shopping location. You can walk 3 minutes to Times Plaza and complete your shopping list and think about sight seeing the next day.

Re: Hong Kong Anyone?

Thanks konjlam,

I'm actually leaving in a few weeks; decided to stay at the CP. I will definitely do afternoon tea service at the IC, and shopping around both. I think that I will receive better recognition as a PC member from the Crown Plaza staff (hoping for a nice room upgrade, etc.). Even if I don't receive an upgrade, the hotel itself looks spectacular.

Thanks so much for your tips!
