Springfield is the state capitol of Illinois and there are many hotel choices, however the Staybridge Suites offers a unique choice for those times I prefer an affordable and easy-access multi-room suite.  The hotel is located on the south side of Springfield about a block from a main thoroughfare running northward into downtown and center of most government buildings.

The hotel is well maintained and has the usual Staybridge Suites amenities such as large pool, outdoor basketball court, grilling area and patio (and morning and evening meal choices).  Despite being (seemingly) full during a recent stay with a large group of business associates, it was remarkably quiet and the staff were very professional, as expected.  It is worth noting the staff were particularly accommodating to an older person in my group who asked for a last minute room change to help with access.  Thank You.

Attention to detail makes this Staybridge Suites a viable hotel choice when I do business in Springfield.
