Re: Bonus of 250 Points: Sign up for e-Statements

I know it sounds wild but............I have just switched and according to the counter approx 382 000 odd people have switched......besides the initial impact saved i.e. reduction of natural resources used and CO2 reduction, ICH looking good and saving a lot of money on postage.....why don't they offer to contribute 10 - 20% postage costs saved per statement and donate it to a green charity, changing the charity on a regular bases and helping charities globally???????? It would be an ethical thing to do and great PR

Re: Bonus of 250 Points: Sign up for e-Statements

On the sign-up page it asks for your p-club number, pin number, and e-mail address.

Am I the only one that doesn't get what the pin number is? When I type in the field it shows in the clear. It doesn't like my password and I can't figure out where to define a "pin number".  Any help?

Re: Bonus of 250 Points: Sign up for e-Statements

Hello,

Sorry for the delayed response, but your pin (Personal Identification Number), a 4 digit numeric digits, serves as the password associated to your Priority Club Rewards account when you signed up for the Priority Club Rewards Program. If you are having trouble logging in you can either call 1-888-211-9874 (toll-free) for support or visit the Priority Club Rewards website http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/pc/1/en/c/2/content/dec/pc/0/en/cs/faq.html, to get assistance with your account and matching your PIN with your email address on file.

Just to give you a brief introduction into the IHG/Oxford partnership:

IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group), the world’s largest hotel company, and the University of Oxfordhave joined forces to accelerate vital research into conservation, with IHG pledging up to $1million over a five year period to help Oxford increase its research capability.

IHG is using its Priority Club Rewards (PCR) scheme to fund the programme by asking members to switch from paper to online statements. There are over 44 million PCR members worldwide making it the world’s largest hotel loyalty programme and this simple change will have a huge financial and environmental benefit. Switching to online statements will save IHG up to $400,000 every year and the hotel group will donate half of all savings made directly to the Department of Plant Sciences at Oxford University.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance or have any additional questions.

Best,

Fred McSeveney

Hi Ronald,

No, I have not, but I would really love to visit there, as I heard it was beautiful. Have you ever been there before?

Thanks,

I live about 30 miles from Oxford and work wise visited about twice a month. You understand that you begin to accept it as normal. It is as you say a great place to visit. As well Blenhiem Palace is a short drive north from the city. Churchills Birthplace and tomb are there.this may be of intersthttp://www.visitoxford.org/

There is one HI as well as a HIX

Re: Bonus of 250 Points: Sign up for e-Statements

I did not notice as it did not occur to me. On recollection though I would have thought that the glass fronted building would be a heat source for our cooler climate as well as giving good  natural lighting. Most UK businesses now use low energy lighting..Also most British  designed now incorporates natural air conditioning, do not ask how it works as I do not know.

Re: Bonus of 250 Points: Sign up for e-Statements

If you read post number 9  in this thread you will find out how to receive your pin #. And welcome to the community. A word of advice, it is not only the first post in a thread that contains the valuable information. if you take your time and read all posts within a thread you most of the time find the answer to the question that you want to ask. Believe me, you are not the only one who makes this mistake. Happens to me too. Happy Holidays

If we have signed up for E statements perhaps we could also include reducing that amount of promotion material that arrives by post. Just had an expensive looking promo on points for flights.

Entered my member #, PIN # and e-mail and it says that I need to enter a valid member #...etc.

I am currently receiving e-statements, so I guess I'm no longer applicable, huh?
