2010 World Cup in South Africa

http://www.somsoccer.com/english/photo/119.jpg Now that tickets for the 2010 World Cup are on sale now, there has been much talk and excitement about the 2010 FIFA World Cup Soccer (or football) event being held in ten stadiums across South Africa! Soccer/football fanatics from across the world are now making their travel accommodations to sit in the heart of all the World Cup action.

Have you made your travel plans for the World Cup in South Africa? Where are you staying? How are you getting there?

For those who intend to watch the games from the comfort of their homes (or taverns), what team(s) are you rooting for?

Re: 2010 World Cup in South Africa

.There are ten venues

http://www.worldcupafrica2010.com/

I think only Jo burgh, Pretoria and Cape town  have IHG hotels non of which seem to have any availability for the duration. You would need to exercise your Royal Ambassador rights to get a room.

Oh and the tickets are not giveaway either.
