What do you think?
based on the article that you have given.. well, i think i can be a road warrior..
you never know if you are unless you give it a try..
Yes I do have what it takes to be a road worrier. I have been on the road for the last 7 years at least 100 night per year and increasing. Although I don't fly often, I have to drive.
Interesting and accurate, I think. Yes, I have what it takes. In fact, I very rarely pack anything I don't use--even when taking a week or longer vacation! Not true for my friends. Many of them lug 2 or 3 pieces of luggage, while my husband and I share 1. Since I haven't vacationed with a group of friends in a few years, I wonder if they have changed their packing habits since the airlines starting charging for checked baggage...
I am an X-road warrior!
I traveled 5 nights a week for 6 years in a row. It can wear you out, but if you go to the same locations, you become a member of the hotel 'family'.
It helps somewhat, but nothing, and I mean NOT ONE THING, can ever give you back the time you loose with your family.
I packed everything in a carry-on case!
It can be done!
When I started out on the road the roads network in the UK was not as good as it is now so often a journey of 100 miles would take three hours plus so often the number of nights away was greater than now. No mobile phones for quick communication so often if an appointment was canceled you did not know until you arrived.
I guess I can't consider myself a road warrior. Traveled w/o cell phone for years and used landline phones extensively. Packed my carry on for week long trips. Flew / drove extensively everywhere in the western world. Sat in airports and rescheduled trips. Did basically what a road warrior would do. The only thing I failed is being flexible with hotels. Always wanted and still want the best room and recognition. Never happy with the room I got. How can they pit someone like me on a room like this. Don't they know who I am. I hope I overcome this and then I call myself a road warrior.
Quite the jokester huh? LOL
No, seriously
No, not you... you don't care if you get an upgrade because the room is usually fine for you. I thought you stated that in another thread about people wanting upgrades..
Anyone who travels alot is a road warrior..it isn't fun..sometimes.
Yep that's you..
