Despite the link saying book between 26-30 September I just booked a HIE in Edinburgh on 18 December for £29.00 - last week when I booked it as a 'Best Flexible' it was £129.00.
My We Will Rock You tickets have effectively cost me nothing ![]()
Mike
Just booked my Christmas Day and Boxing Day nights for £58 in total. I was originally down for £55 a night. So that's my Fully Flexible rooms cancelled.
Get them while they're available all you UK PC members, for tomorrow (26th September) everyone who goes online to book or phones the reservation lines gets a chance to book them.
To get the Euro symbol ( € ).
Whilst holding down the 'Alt' key (the key either side of the space bar), press the buttons 0, 1, 2, 8 in sequence. After you have pressed the number 8, let go of the 'Alt' key and the € symbol will appear as if by magic.
If you have a none standard US or UK keyboard then please let me know as this code doesn't always work.
It will also print out the same using todays printers. If you have a Daisywheel Printer it won't print it, or if your printer is pre-1998 as the codings were changed so that the new Euro symbol could be printed out.

You can now write the symbol instead of the word when writing to all your friends.
Pretty impressive! This is a great shortcut. Thanks for sharing Paul. ![]()
Wonder why this did not work on my pc?
Rick,
You need to use the numeric keypad to create the character. When using a laptop, make sure you also use that keypad. Enable NumLock, then type M(0), J(1), K(2), 8 with the Alt key depressed.
Rick,
Do you have a desktop PC or laptop? I read in your post that it woesn't working on your PC. Try Paul's tip again. Most desktop PC keyboards have numbers above the letter keys and an additional number keypad to the right of the letter keys. Use Paul's code only on the number keypad to the right of the keys, not the numbers above the letters if you are using a desktop PC.
Hope that helps,
Well, it is not working for me. I have a logitech wireless keyboard with separate key
pad... who knows? If I try hard enough I can figure it out!
Thanks though...
Thanks JBa,
No num-lock on this current keyboard and number pad..
it is not important really, just thought it would be a neat thing to be able to do. When and IF I find a minute to work on it I will probably figure it out.
Mike & Paul,
I think it's great it includes a 20% food & drink voucher. Thanks for sharing ![]()
