Intercontinental Hotel - Atlanta

A couple months ago, a friend of mine was proposing to his now fiance starting with a city view room at the Intercontinental in downtown Atlanta.  Myself and a couple of friends of the couple went to the hotel that afternoon to setup the room with flower pedals and candles, the ring of course, and various other accoutrements.

We found ourselves pleasantly surprised by the front desk attendant, who IMMEDIATELY took ownership of the elements of surprise to be supported by the hotel.  We advised her that we made up a story about winning a free night there to confuse the bride-to-be about this evening (since we all live in Atlanta).  She made sure that all desk staff on duty during the time of their upcoming arrival were on board and adequately prepped to handle them as they arrived for thier "complimentary stay."  She even went as far as contacting all the bell staff to make sure they were apprised.

At the time, I said I would provide feedback to her manager, and regretfully I did not.  However, I think this group is the perfect forum to say, cheerio!  If someone can be sure to find out who she was, and give her an overwhelming kudos for her work.  The wedding is on for September!

This story is great!!! It's nice to hear that someone went above and beyond the call of duty.
