Friendly welcoming and helpful staff, both at check-in, the adjoining bar and the room cleaning staff.

Staff were also efficient.

Typical HI Exp breakfast in Germany; would be useful to know if the cheese was suitable for vegetarians though (I assumed not and wasn't going to try asking).

Good policy for Platinum Members (free drink and internet) with specially designated room.

Standard HI Exp. room layout and furniture with good build, maintenance quality and good lighting.

The room was non-smoking but I did notice that when I had the window open it caught a lot of the cigrette smokers smoke who stood outside but the nearby rear/taxi entrance.

Location quite far from the city centre when walking, but close to the bus stop (also with Night Buses) which connect with the nearby main railway station (with connection to FRA airport).

The distance for a one-off walk to the city was ok, but I wouldn't walk that every day (2.5 km).

Bar Prices quite steep (expensive) but not a problem with the free drink voucher.
