This is going to be just what we've all been waitng for in the UK. This is one promo that will seemy points tally diminish very quickly!!

Didn't SPG have that idea long before it showed up here?? Wonder why we have to copy all these promos and points redemptions from them.

It is not uncommon to find airline sale fares to post and minutes later a competitive airline matches the offer. This appears to be the trend in the hotel industry as well.

Yes Starwood Preferred Guests were offered a similar promotion last year. However in your thread you seemed supportive of the Priority Club's Flight Anywhere program but mentioned a few glitches in searching for flights.  Priority Club has fixed the search features and even Starwood's flight program website finally upgraded its technology last month.

One main difference, Priority Club's Flight Anywhere program offers one to redeem points AND cash for a flight if you fall short of the needed points to redeem a particular flight. This is NOT offered by Starwood's flight program.

Also, in 2005, IHG pioneered the Anyhotel, Anytime. Sickel was quoted saying, "No one else is offering anything like this." The Anyhotel, Anytime was an unprecedented and industry leading offering in the hospitality industry.

Today, Brett Snyder interviewed IHG's VP of Loyalty Programs, Don Berg, who offered a pretty good insight into why and how the Flights Anywhere Program evolved.

As a proud member of IHG, I am pleased that the Flights Anywhere program is offered to Priority Club members.

In my opinion, if IHG never offered the Flights Anywhere program, wouldn't people then be saying, "Why don't we have that feature?"

Keep up the Good work Brian & Don,

I check out the flight options to Paris from London. The BA flight economy would cost £150 and the points was over 50000. I would prefer two nights in a CP for that. number of points.
